Hey there luvs!!!! Just a quick one with one of my random adventures!! This one just happened to be to a place I've been before, but never for the right reasons! (They happen to be one of the 2 places who sell Home Run Inn frozen pizzas in this area. Yes, it's that serious Lol) I was lucky enough to be accompanied by my little ray of sunshine Naima!! (Click her name to view her YouTube Page)
This mini voyage landed us to the Neighborhood Co-op of Carbondale.

Neither one of us got this but......this bacon, spinach, and onion pizza looked SOOOOO fab!!! I CAN NOT wait to go back and try it!!
Ok now to the stuff we did actually get! Lol
Naima purchased this Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Bread she heard about from a friend. I thought the overall origin of the bread was very interesting to say the least.
Inspired by the Holy Scripture verse Ezekiel 4:9., "Take also unto thee Wheat, and Barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and Spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make bread of it..."

The Israeli Salad
Yes!!! It's as good as it looks!! We had never heard of this salad before but the colors were so vibrant we couldn't help but ask for a sample! (I was so excited they gave samples! Lol Don't judge me!!)
But anyway, I googled it and got a little information for you guys:
Israeli salad (or Israeli vegetable salad) is the most well known national dish of Israel. It is distinguished by the tiny diced tomato and cucumber. Before the Western – style breakfast became common, it was the traditional breakfast in Israel. It is served as an independent dish or as an accompaniment to main dishes. It is also stuffed in a pita with falafel (fried ball made from spiced chickpeas) shawarma (sandwich like wrap of shaved lamb, goat, turkey etc.)
I'll be sure to grab some of this for my Mommie next time I head home I'm sure she would LOVE this!
One of Naima's purchases as well, but luckily she's a doll so she shared a few with me!
Pretty darn good too if I do say so myself!
My Chicken Salad that they make from scratch everyday!!!
It was very light but filling and FULL of flavor! I'll definitely be purchasing this again very soon!
Salmon Cake
It was VERY good and this too will be purchased again!! Might be grabbing Mom one of these too!
We did grab a few more items but these were my favorites!!
Make sure you give this place a chance if you ever happen to stop by Carbondale.
If I find anymore fab items I'll be sure to share them!
